Black vomit?
my mum is a last stage cancer patient, as the doctor says her intestines are obstructed by tumor growth,shes having difficulty eating as she will vomit everything out in thick black liquid.is the liquid blood or food? why is it black? she doesnt eat solid foods cause it will only worsen the condition but she still vomits it out later.we only feed her fruit juices,tea or porridge,sometimes oatmeal

First of all, I will like to say that you and your mom will be in my prayers. It could be that her digestive system is shutting down. That's what happened to my Great Aunt, but she was spitting up green bile and not black vomit. It would be best to not give her any liquids (I don't want to sound mean) because her body can't digest the liquids. Ultimately, dehydration will kick in. You should put her in the hospice if she isn't already in one, and the hospice can make her feel as comfortable as possible.
