Question: Has anyone lost weight while taking Metformin!?
I seem to be slowly losing weight and I am taking Metformin as well as Mona Vie!. I am seeking others who may have lost weight by taking either or both!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you're diabetic and you're in metformin, it will help you loose some weight, metformin enhances the elimination of some lipids (fat) in your body by increasing the utilization of your insuline, and that is why it lowers your weight (of course, it is like a side effect, not its principal)Www@Answer-Health@Com
i did lose a lot of weight while taking metformin but it was not because of the metformin it was because my sugars were still constantly too high and i needed to switch to insulin, make sure you keep track of your sugars and if they are high it will cause you to lose weightWww@Answer-Health@Com
I have PCOS and have been taking metformin for 7 years now!. And if I am careful with my carb intake I have and do lose weight! This last year I got more serious about it, and watching carbs (following a lowcarb diet) I have lost almost 40lbsWww@Answer-Health@Com
I personally have not experienced any weight loss taking Metformin!. I did once I started Byetta, however! Just start going for walks! exercise will cause you to exercise and generally feel better about yourself!

I never lost weight on it!. I do know that if you are diabetic, and you don't keep your blood sugar fairly level it makes it even harder to loose weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
