I've been told that my legs jerk when I'm asleep about every 10 seconds, I've never realized that .
is what I have serious? If i wasn't told about it I would never know that I was doing it!

Usually you have body movements like that when you are falling into deeper levels of sleep. Once you reach the deepest level, you shouldn't have those movements anymore. Are you moving like that throughout the night or just when you first fall asleep? It could be restless leg syndrome, which is treatable. But if it doesn't wake you, I don't think it is RLS. It doesn't seem serious, but if you are concerned you should always go and see your doctor.
