How long is RSV contagious? Same for Croup?!
Question:
How long is RSV contagious? Same for Croup?
Answers:
RSV is most contagious in the early part of infection - the first 2-4 days - and for up to 3 weeks or longer, in some cases, after the onset of infection.
Most, but not all, croup is viral and self-limited. Transmission doesn't always mean croup but can instead be a cold. Contagion lasts about a week.
