You should really consult your doctor!.!.!.you have bleeding from your anus and the irritation sounds like it is persistent enough to cause you embarassment!.
It could be piles, an anal fissure but it's less likely to be diverticular disease of the colon, polyposis, cancer of the bowel or ulcerative colitis!.
The skin around the anus has a propensity to itch, and can become inflamed and soggy!. The more you scratch, the worse the irritation becomes!. The condition is known medically as pruritis ani!. The causes are: irritating soap, powders and ointments; rough/tight clothes; poor anal hygiene (not saying you don't have good personal hygiene); piles; anal fissures (infections caused by threadworms or thrush and/or disorders which cause itching, such as diabetes mellitus or jaundice)!.
Do not scratch!.!.!.wear gloves in bed to stop scratching while asleep!.!.!.keep the skin around the anus clean and dry and only use a bland talcum powder (like baby powder with cornstarch)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
