Not sure what to title this....Cancer Treatment and the inevitable?!

What stage is the cancer in!? That's very important to know!. I was diagnosed with lung cancer last year, it was stage 2!. It was inoperable because it's so close to my spine!. I went through 2 rounds of chemo and 7 weeks of radiation!. The higher the stage the worse chance you have!. I look at it this way, he could always be in the percentage that make it!. My advice is to take it one day at a time, in my case I had to keep laughing and finding things that made me smile and happy!. He'll need a high protein diet, I also drank Essiac Tea, you can find it at health food stores, it worked great for me!. Herbal tea was a God send!. Try to make sure he doesn't lose weight that very important!. Cancer care has come a long way!. He might do great, and the meds they give for nausea work great also!. Spend as much time together doing things you love to do, but remember it has to be relaxing for him!. Spend as much time together as possible, and please go with him for treatment, talk to the doctor's so you know what to expect!. Maybe when he loses his hair, you all can have a hair shaving party to show support!. The cancer center should offer classes you can go to to help with any questions you may have!. I am a medical resident, I have seen many patients diagnosed with lung and other cancers!. I wish your family strength in this difficult time!. Treatment and prognosis is very dependent on the situation, what stage the cancer is and what type it is!. Your oncologist will need to be honest with you and discuss the plan in detail!. The hospital usually has social work and counseling services for him and your family!. What I can tell you is that he cancer patients I meet are very strong, usually stronger then their families!. In this time people focus on the good things, the time they spend with their kids and grandkids, enjoying all the good days when they feel well!. With all cancers it really depends on what stage the cancer is at!. All I can say is talk to the doctor and see what the options are!. But they are usually surgery, radiation, chemo or a combo!. My mother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer at the end of April and we really didn't know if she was going to make it out of the hospital!. Everything they have been doing for her is to help make her more comfortable and buy her a little time!. She can't have surgery because placement!. Also hers has mmetastasized to her brain!.

we really don't know how much longer she has nor do the doctors!. All I can say if the person you love is terminal, just love them everyday and be thankful for their presence in you life at this time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have just lost my wife to cancer, and i KNOW you WILL cope!. WE all seem to find something extra at these times!. I was given a small book by the MCMILLAN nurses that contained many helpfull things!. One of these was a list of things that will happen to the patient,in a sequence you can follow if he is having his treatment at home!.as my wife did!. do get a copy if you can!.I do hope this helps, if only a little!. please seek out alternative cancer treatments!.!.there could be hope!. naturalpathic drs !.!.you can look things up online and get books!. please know this stuff works!.!.reg drs werent taught this stuff nor do they believe!. i know a alternative dr and have seen soo many case studies where they stopped cancer, even cured of it! there really is hope!.!.act fast and in the mean time no sugar!.!.sugar feeds the cancer cells and will help it to spread!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
