Question! sinus tachycardia and premature ventricular contractions.?!

Question: Question! sinus tachycardia and premature ventricular contractions!.!?
I am 19, and medication is not working for my pvc's and sinus tachycardia, what is another solution!?
I have tried atenolol (a beta-blocker) as well as a calcium channel blocker, and so far these have not worked (they almost seem to be making my symptoms worse!.!.!.my HR dropped as low as 45, causing my dizziness to worsen) I go back to school soon, and would just like a solution!.!.!.I'm seeing a cardiologist for the first time in a few weeks!. (i was diagnosed by a family physician through multiple tests!.!.!.event monitors, ecg, ekg) and would just like to know what to expect from them as to what they will suggest the solution to my problems to be!. Thank you!
Oh and I know that the chances of a cardiologist answering this on yahoo is slim, but I wanted to ask anyways just in case someone out there has my same conditions, or knows someone who does!.!.!.thanks to all those who answer!

just to clarify, I have gone to a doctor to be diagnosed and prescribed my meds (this obviously wasnt a self diagnostic) Its just that I have not seen a specialist yet( i will be seeing a electro cardiologist in a few weeks!.!.!.i think thats what its called) BUT I was just hoping to get some prior information as to what to expect the doctors may suggest to be a possible solution for my problems, so I am not shocked when it comes time!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

For help with specific questions about the heart, one of the best forums is managed by the Cleveland Clinic (one of the best heart centers in the US)!. MDs there will answer questions -- not about a diagnosis -- but to help you better understand test results and procedures!.!.!.

Hang out at the forum to help learn about the procedures and network with others!.

Secondly, for PVCs I highly recommend going to About!.com heart disease forum and posting to Dr!. Rich!. He specializes in the electrical side of heart conditions (exactly what you're facing), and that forum has many with your condition!.

Possible treatments might be trying a different combination or dosage of drugs, implantation of a pacemaker, or microsurgery of the heart (catheter ablation) to change the timing of electrical impulses that travel across the heart during a heart beat cycle!.

I am not a doctor, but i would guess that given your age, the first choice would be catheter ablation, if your specific condition could be fixed this way!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am not a doctor, but worked in health care for 18 years!. You are having PVC's!. I have them all the time!. My doctor told me that they were benin!. Meaning they werent affecting my heart in a negative way!. They were just bothersome to me!.
He also ordered an echocardiogram!. They take a probe and run it across your heart!. There is also no pain to this procedure!. He diagnosed me with Mitral Valve Prolapse (MVP)!. He said there was nothing to worry about it because it was causing the PVC's and the Mitral Valve was letting a small amount of blood back up into the atrium!. Not enough to concern myself with!.
He put me on Propanolol, and they eventually went away!. Even though they have started up recently!.
I dont know if they have done an echocardiogram but I believe that to be the next step!.
Some possible solutions for the PVC's would be medication!.
The Ventricular Tachycardia would be possible medications, or if it is bad enough an inplantable pacemaker which will help the heart rate to slow down!.
Good luck with all this and if you need or want to talk, you are more than welcome to e-mail me anytime!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
