Chest pain or breathing problems need to be evaluated by a physician!. Get it done soon, and don't pay any attention to these knuckleheads on the internet who claim to have medical backgrounds!. They can get you into real trouble!. Certified medical personnel would never offer advice on the internet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Shortness of breath has hundreds of causes and you need to sit down with a doctor for 5 minutes chat and probably a few tests before your cause can be identified!.

Do you feel tired a lot!? If so, it could be caused by anaemia, but then you need to think about what is causing the anaemia!. If you have ever had anaemia before, this is a good possibility!.

Are you on any new medication - i!.e!. started around the time you started getting short of breath!?

Do you have any other symptoms!? Swollen ankles!? (heart failure) Chest pain!? (other cardiac cause)!. Any abdominal pain or signs of internal bleeding, dark tarry stools etc!? (causes of anaemia)!.

Ultimately this answer is unhelpful because, I am afraid, you still need to go and see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It would be helpful if we had some more info on you, as the patient!. Are you experiencing shortness of breath only when you exercise (likely asthma) or all the time!? How old are you!? (younger points to asthma, older indicates other problems) Any history of cancer in your family!? (there's a slim chance there could be a tumor compressing some part of your airway) Are you experiencing greater anxiety than normal!? (anxiety can trigger a closing of airways) Is there any pain!? (could indicate a variety of conditions) Did you recently or do you currently have any cold/flu symptoms!? (we could be dealing with pneumonia, here)

Since you didn't mention exercise, my first guess would be anxiety!. Try yoga-ish stuff and see if it helps any!. If not, you should definitely consider a doctor!. This could be serious!.

Side note: PLEASE don't get freaked out because I said something about cancer!. It really is a very slim chance!. It's far more likely to be something like asthma, pneumonia, or just plain anxiety!.

Good luck!. :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
