Should I still make an appointment?!
Question: Should I still make an appointment!?
I was having really bad, non-stop asthma attacks for 3 days in a row!. Yesterday I didn't have any and today my chest is just a little sore!. My throat is a little sore and has a few dots on one tonsil!. Because my attacks have stopped, do you think it's still wise to make an appointment with my pulmonologist, even if he has to squeeze me in!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Absolutely go to doc PDQ!.
You are no longer having acute attacks (airway constriction) of Asthma, but you most likely have chronic inflammation of the airways!. You need to be treated immediately!. Do you know what set off the attacks!? (the trigger), the doc will want to know that if you can pin point it!.
