It's doesn't scream diabetes to me, but it does sound like she has some blood sugar issues going on!. Hypoglycemia can be dangerous!. Here's another thought!. You mention she drinks coffee!. How much!? Too much caffeine can wreak havoc!. Does she drink enough water, juice or non-caffeinated drinks during the day!? Caffeine also negates hydration!. Dehydration can make you pass out!.

I know she's 19 and stubborn but she really has to go to a doctor!. Is she going into college in the Fall!? She'll have to have an annual physical!. Mention your concerns then!.

If she already had her physical and she won't go to a doctor for her health!.!.!. try hitting her where it'll get through!. Nineteen year old girls are vain and self conscious! I don't have hypoglycemia but I do have low blood pressure issues, and wouldn't go see a doctor!. Four kids!.!.!. too busy!. When you faint, it's deadweight!. When I fainted a year ago I hit the corner of a stepstool like a ton of bricks!. I have a permanent reminder, in the shape of a scar next to my eye!. She doesn't want that!. Also tell her if she doesn't do something preventative, there's a good chance she'll end up in the ER!. That's worse than a doctor's office!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like blood sugar problems of some sort!. Very likely to be diabetes, and you should be worried!. I have low blood sugar, and I get dizzy, light headed, and nausea if I don't eat!. She does need to see a doctor and have blood work done to determine exactly what is happening, and the sooner, the better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Could be diabetes!. Check her blood sugar level and tell her to go easy on the sweets!. If she starts to feel sick even if she hasn't had very much sugar than tell her to drink some orange juice or pop a piece of hard candy!.

When I drink a mocha I have trouble breathing and feel weak!.!.!.and Im not sure if that's from the caffeine or the sugar!. >_<!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

nAnd you should be worried about her!. Explain to her that she needs to go see the dr!. If she does have diabetes and she goes now they may be able to just treat it with diet, but if she waits she may need to be on pills or shots!. But it could also be a lot of other things also!. You didn't mention if diabetes runs in the family or not!. I hope she will go see the dr!. and soon, good luck to both of youWww@Answer-Health@Com
