Question: What are the physical limits for a person with osteoporosis!?
im only 38, and have osteoporsis!. can i horseback ride!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are taking your meds and calcium tabs, there should be no reason for you not to do as you see fit to do and feel like doing!.

I haven't seen any of the cowboys around here stopping riding and roping just because the doctors told them they have osteoporosis!! They even ride broncs!.

And for the persons who think horseback riding isn't exercise, therefore bicycle riding isn't either!. Yes, it is great exercise and just as good for one as riding a bicycle or running or jogging or walking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should ask your doctor about any limitations you might have!. Horseback riding isn't really exercise, unless you are a horse!

People with osteoporosis can do many types of exercise, though, and in fact, it's encouraged!. Check with your doctor, though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
