Ouch! Sounds like you've been through a lot!. Don't try many things in a short amount of time!. You've probably learned that can make it worse and it makes it harder to figure out which thing causes the problem!. By spots do you mean pimples or just pink dots!?

If possible don't put anything extreme on your skin for a while!. Your skin may need a break and to find its own balance again!. It may take a couple weeks or more!. Whenever possible use things that do not have added fragrance or are advertised for sensitive skin!. Think gentle!.

To wash, maybe a Dove beauty bar with a clean wash cloth to exfoliate (change daily- and don't scrub too hard)!. If your skin is dry or has drier areas (like cheeks) use a light moisturizer!. I use Oil of Olay Complete that has SPF!.

Sometimes I use witch hazel after washing, before moisturizing!. If this is something you wanted to try but have never used, put some on your arm a couple of times before putting it on your face to make sure you don't have a reaction!. Wait at least a day before using on your face!. I try to remember to do this with anything new!.

For now avoid makeup, especially if it may be old!. (Lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, probably okay!.) Try not to cover up the spots for now because that may be contributing to the problem!.

Hopefully your skin will settle down enough for prom where you can put makeup on again, if only temporarily!.

For the long term if the above does not help you should probably see a doctor!. I'm sure they would have to ask you a lot more questions and see you to really tell you what caused this!.

Good luck, I hope you have a lot of fun at prom!Www@Answer-Health@Com
