IV question?!

Question: IV question!?
I've always wanted ask this to an open group of people!. I told my doctor that I had a severe reaction to the IV fluid and that it would ALWAYS make me throw up afterwards!. It's not because I am afraid of needles or because I am nervous it would just happen!.
Here's the thing, when the insert the needle into my vein I'm fine, I will even lay down on my back and close my eyes very relaxed!. As soon as the IV is done and they take out the IV I get a strange feeling in my stomach and throw UP!. Really bad!. And everytime I throw up it's a really neon yellow color - not food!. Sorry for TMI!. I told this to my doctor and she laughed!. I was offended and I told her that it was serious and that this has been happening since I've been born!.!.!.I even told her when I was pregnant that I did NOT want an IV because of my reaction and she refused I ended up throwing up throughout my labor!.

Does anyone know what this could be!?!? I know it's not food because sometimes I'd go in with an empty stomach!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The reason she laughed is because each time they put in the IV, they put something different in, so it is not an allergy!. It sounds most likely a vaso-vagal reaction to blood that comes out after the needle is withdrawn!. Unfortunately there is nothing to treat this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
