My hand spontaneously goes numb, should i see a doctor?!

Question: My hand spontaneously goes numb, should i see a doctor!?
It started this morning, my hand and three of my fingers would just lose feeling and i would have trouble holding things!. it would regain feeling within a minute and i just ignored it!. this happen about twice an hour!.

About 20 minutes ago, it happen again, this time my entire left arm went numb!. i could move it but it didnt feel like it was moving at all!. it took about 5 minuets to get back to normal and right now everything is good but i am kinda concerned!.

i checked around online and read that lyme disease can actually have a similar effect, this got my attention because i had 2 ticks on me about a month ago!. i only had them on me for a single night, and took them off the next morning once i noticed them!. the amount of time they were on me was to short and its been to long to just start having symptoms for it to be lyme disease, correct!?

if it happens to me again i am defiantly going to go to the doctor but should i be concerned as it is!? thanks!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I wouldn't panic!.!.!. could be a partially pinched nerve, but I'd definitely call the doctor because it could be lots of things!. If it were Lyme disease you should have seen a red ring around where the ticks were for awhile!. It kind of looks like a target, but still!. I'd call the doctor and he'll probably want to see you to check you out!. Better safe than sorry!.

Addendum: Carpal Tunnel shouldn't make your whole arm go numb, but nerves are funny things, so it could be that!. And if it is Carpal Tunnel then you'll definitely want to see the doctor anyway, for exercises and recommendations for a wrist brace, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely see a doctor if you think it might be Lyme Disease!. Could it be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome!? If you've started a new job or have been sitting at the same position in front of the computer for a really long time that might could be it!. But definitely see a doc just to be safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Left arm going numb could also point to a heart condition!. See a doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lyme can cause numbness!. So can lots of things!.

Since you had two ticks on you overnight, I would definitely read up on Lyme disease!. Be advised that there are other tick-borne infections in addition to Lyme!.
