im in pain tonight and could use a laugh (i hope i dont offend anyone)well my friend went to the er and they assumed she was a "drug seeker" i guess thats what there called they shot her in the but with toradol and she said she might as well have been a cattle being branded she screamd in pain as she said it burned for 15 min!.A cat scan showed a stone and she got the "good stuff " she said the nurse told her its an inside joke in the er!.!.!.!.when this particular dr thinks his pt is a seeker he burns them in the a@# lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

Oh Boy!.!.another crappy ER doctor!. Not all of them are but in my days before finding help with the pain I suffer I too many times was turned away from ER's!. What a shitty feeling that is!. I mean, it's bad enough you're going there because you're in so much pain a better option at the time just might be running infront of a bus just to end the horrific pain!. (my luck I'd just up totally limbless or something!.) Anyway I've had toridol and it did NOTHING for me except give me a massive headache which I did not have before going to the ER!. I don't remember it stinging or anytthing!. Make sure your friend tells them that she's allergic to the stuff next time so they wont even bother wasting her time or their time by giving it to her!. I am never guarenteed that I'll be treated at the ER but the last time I went I got loaded up with dilauded IV!.!.!.!.that's the only thing that will kill my pain when it reaches a certain level!. The docs ask "did I take my medication!?" I say!.!.!.there's no point!.!.!.I'll be wasting it because it's not touching the pain!. The doc I know stands there (he's really hot by the way!.!.an older dude!.) and he says!.!.'Oh, I just hate to do this to you!?" I'm like wtf!?!?!?!?" (I didnt say that but I thought it!.) He says!.!.!.I just don't like juicing you up"!. Mind you I hadn't been there for 8 months!. They know who I am!.!.they know my illness!.!.!.they know I'm not scamming but yet you ARE indeed made to feel like **** anyway, that's part of the "mental" torture chronic pain sufferes go through!. They do try to say getting the shot in the muscle lasts longer!. Not for me!.!.!.it doesent even work as well!.!.!.try explaining that one!.!.!.I usually have to ASK for them to put it in my vein!. Think that doesnt make me feel like **** too!.!.!.omg!.!.!.lol!. It's awful!. My sister was in the ER not too long ago!.!.she's filled with kidney stones and she's had every treatment known to man to the point the doctors have nearly destroyed her kidneys by "blasting" them with lithotripsies (sp) anyhoo!.!.!.this HORRIBLE doctor a woman!.!.(usually nurses are great) told her that her pain didnt warrent a shot of dilauded!. Again, I was like wtf!?!?!? Oh yeah!.!.ya gotta be very careful in hospitals when seeking pain relief!. basically it's a crap shoot!. Sometimes ya luck out and get an awesome caring doctor who wants to help you to feel relief!. other times you get some *** wipe who has never suffered any chronic pain!. I always wonder this!.!.if it was their mother, sister, son daughter father, brother!.!.!.!.would it even be a question!? To give or not to give the heavy duty medication!. I think not!. I was even told once that I was going to get scar tissue in my *** cheek from the shots!. Who cares about scar tissue in your ***!? I dont!. I want paijn relief!. it's a good thing I'm not a doctor because I'd surley be fired for being the next kavorkian!.!.!.or chronic pain relief nutcase running from room to room with a syringe! LOL!. It's sad the way you can leave feeling!. I've left ER's in tears blubbering one because of physical pain!.!.and two!.!.the mental anguish and the fact they made me feel like a low life looser!.!.!.because I'm sick and suffering!. Way inhumaine!. I hope you and your friend feels much better soon if not already!.
