They give free and confidential antibody testing at many locations, probably and including your local County Health Dpeartment!.

The best solution for you is to go get tested!. You have already passed the "6 month window", so the test should be accurate!.

I don't recognize the symptoms you are describing!. Symptoms include things like night sweats, fever, fatigue, and some experience no symptomology whatsoever!.

While some call anxiety a symptom, I have often wondered if the anxiety was the expected response of someone who is concerned about having caught a life changing disease!.

So just go get tested right away and refrain from having unprotected sex!.

For those who are telling you it is too soon to experience symptoms, they are incorrect!. There have been many cases of people who have begun to experience classic symptoms within a few DAYS!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most people don't start to experience the symptoms of HIV exposure until years after the fact!. You haven't provided us with enough information to accurately say "it could be," so I'm going to tell you to get a blood test done!. The whole issue can be chalked up to stress and anxiety, but it is better to be tested and know, than be sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok, most people that are going to have early symptoms get them within 2-8 weeks after the incident!. On average around 2-4wks!. Then a person will not have anymore symptoms for a long time, up to 10yrs!. But if you are talking about the early hiv symptoms, you are well past that point!. You shoud test to make sure , and be careful about the choices you make in the future, learn from this!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Usually you can have HIV long before you ever get symptoms so if you're that worried about it, go to a free health clinic and get tested!. Your symptoms doesn't necessarily mean you have HIV, you could just have another minor STD that can be cured no problem!. Go see a doctor!Www@Answer-Health@Com

My brother had hiv for 10 years before he know he had it!. Its most likely not hiv!. I dont think you can have hiv symptoms in 6 months!. I would get a blood test to make sure!.

some people have had hiv for 15 years with no symptoms and giving it to others without knowing it !. sure is a bad disease:(Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm no doctor, but I don't think that HIV shows symptoms so soon, but STDs do, some of them anyway!. Get more medicines and stick with them until you are cured (if there IS a cure, that is one good reason NOT to go to a "ho") Good luck!. :=(Www@Answer-Health@Com

what are you desperate!? have sex with a hooker, that was a smart move, why dont you ask your father what the symptoms of HIV are!? Or better yet go get a blood testWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well I would advice to get tested!.!. for everything just in case!.!.!. Good Luck and dont sleep with any more prostitutes!.!.!. there not worth the headaches!.!.!.GOOD LUCKWww@Answer-Health@Com

The symptoms of AIDS do not generally appear for many years althugh the HIV virus can be detected after 6 months!. (It can *sometimes* be detected before that)!.

So, while it is possible you are infected with HIV it is unlikely that the symptoms you are experiencing are related to it!. NOW is the perfect time to take an HIV test!.

BTW, which country are you in!? I coul not find a reference to "barsati fever"!.

PS- Jay's assertion that some people experience symptoms within days or weeks is technically correct!. However those symptoms are generally vague, "flu-like" symptoms that pass quickly and are seldom identified with HIV transmission!. Infected people usually won't make the connection!.

The serious symptoms that eventually appear are not symptoms of HIV, but of other diseases that start to beat back the damaged immune system!. At a certain point (I think it's a white blood cell count of 200 or less) a patient is said to have AIDS, which is not a disease itslef but a "syndrome", a collection of diseases or symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Symptoms
HIV infection progresses in stages!. These stages are based on your symptoms and the amount of the virus in your blood!. Most people go through the following stages after being infected with HIV:

Initial stage (acute retroviral syndrome)
Acute retroviral syndrome is an illness with symptoms like the flu!. It often develops within a few days of infection, but it may occur several weeks after the person is infected!. Symptoms may include:

Abdominal cramps, nausea, or vomiting!.
Diarrhea!.
Enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, and groin!.
Fever!.
Headache!.
Muscle aches and joint pain!.
Skin rash!.
Sore throat!.
Weight loss!.
These first symptoms can range from mild to severe and usually disappear on their own after 2 to 3 weeks!.

Chronic stage
It may take years for HIV symptoms to develop!. But even though no symptoms are present, the virus is multiplying (or making copies of itself) in the body during this time!. HIV multiplies so quickly that the immune system cannot destroy the virus!. After years of fighting HIV, the immune system starts to weaken!.

A doctor may suspect HIV if symptoms persist or if a cause of the symptoms (such as the flu) cannot be identified!. HIV may also be suspected when several of the following symptoms are present:

Confusion
Diarrhea or other bowel changes
Difficulty concentrating
Dry cough
Fatigue
Fever
Loss of appetite
Mouth sores
Nail changes
Night sweats
Swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, and groin
Pain when swallowing
Personality changes
Repeated outbreaks of herpes simplex
Shortness of breath
Tingling, numbness, and weakness in the limbs
Unexplained weight loss
Yeast infection of the mouth (thrush)
Additionally, HIV may be suspected when a woman has at least one of the following:

More than 3 vaginal yeast infections in one year that are not related to the use of antibiotics
Recurrent pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)
Abnormal Pap test or cervical cancer
Children with HIV often have different symptoms (for example, delayed growth or an enlarged spleen) than teens or adults!.

Late stage
AIDS occurs during the last stage of infection with HIV!. If HIV goes untreated, AIDS develops in most people within 12 to 13 years after the initial infection!. With treatment for HIV, the progression to AIDS may be delayed or prevented!.

After your immune system starts to weaken, you are more likely to develop certain infections or illnesses, called opportunistic infections!. Examples include some types of pneumonia or cancer that are more common when you have a weakened immune system!.

A small number of people who are infected with HIV are rapid progressors!. They develop AIDS within about 3 years if they do not receive treatment!. It is not known why the infection progresses faster in these people!.
