Everybody can get the shingles, not only the elderly!.
You are not giving detailed information, so the only thing that I can say is that vit!. B complex (tey are pills taken orally) is contributing to alleviate the pain in this situation!. As I see they haven't recommended something similar!.
I think, too, that you should visit another doctor and it would be wisdom if you could change your mind and visit the site of the American Dermatological Association (just type the name to a search engine) to have a look at it!.
It is an official site, trustworthy and you can find much more information there than we can give you here!.
The quicker you act the better it is for you, dear!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had it when I was 13!.
Yeah, it's not normal for young people!.
I used to yell at my mom to shut up cause she couldn't stop talking all the time cause it always gave me that painful chill when people talked!.
What's important is to give it a wash!. Yes, it's even more painful when you give it a wash, but the stuff eventually falls off!. And avoid scratching!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep taking the medication and ask about Lyrica to relieve pain!. Don't scratch, keep the area clean with mild soap and water, wear loose clothing to avoid rubbing the painful region!. Shingles is contagious so avoid skin contact with anyone!. Once the rash is gone, there are topical creams that may relieve the pain, ask your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you get shingles from the "chicken pox" virus!. It's dormant until something happens-run down, cancer, AIDS, or otherwise comprimised immune system!. Not saying that anything else is wrong with you-you may not be getting enough sleep!. Don't worry, take your meds!. and try to eat healthy, sleep regularly, and ask the DR!. for some mild pain meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My mother had them!. It took some time to get better!. One thing that helped was a prescription cream, I think it was Zovamax!. It helped with the pain in the skin!. Other than that it just takes time for your body to build strength against the virus!. I don't think you need any cauterization and mother did get a pain killer that helped too!. Maybe you should see a different doctor too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
For nerve pain, normal pain meds do not work, ask your doctor for Lyrica or Neurontin, or even a mild dose of a tricyclic anti-depressant works too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
