Question: Accidentally took a double dose of Robitussin!?
I accedentally over filled the cup to full, then took it!. I didn't realize i had done it until it was too late!. I'm not going to get hurt am I!? -no doc office is open at 3 am-Www@Answer-Health@Com

No you will not get hurt, The normal dosage for cough syrups is usually 1 to 2 teaspoons every 6 hours as long you do not take more than 4 doses in a 24 hour period, you will be fine!. You will prob be a bit sleepy, the only thing that could possibly happen is a bit of nausea, the best thing to do is to lay down and go to sleep, there is no need to see a doctor!. It takes a lot more than a double dose of robitussin for it to become toxic and harmful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
