Should someone with Staph be working in a Restaurant?!

Question: Should someone with Staph be working in a Restaurant!?
Answers:
No, they shouldn't be!. See, this is how MRSA has become such a big problem practically overnight!. People get it and think it's no big deal, so they continue to waltz around the world spreading their germs as they go along!. This person should not be allowed to work with people or in a restaurant until the infection is gone!. As for the person who works in the hospital and sees Staph all the time, she failed to mention to you that there are standard precautions when dealing with someone with a Staph infection!. If it's on the skin then gloves need to be worn!. If it's in the respiratory system, the new CDC guidelines of 2008 recommend "gowning up" in a special protective gown, wearing gloves, and also wearing a face mask and/or shield!. You can call your local Health Department and report that someone is working in a restaurant that currently has a major Staph infection and see what they can do about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I live in Florida, work in an Emergency Room!. You would probably have to pick your jaw up off the counter if I told the number of people coming in from working at fast food places and restaurants that have MRSA and other staph infections!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on where the infection is!. If it's not exposed and proper hygeine precautions are taken then it's fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
