Worried about molloscum contagiosum?!
Question: Worried about molloscum contagiosum!?
Does anyone have this!? My doctor told me that I had it and that the bumps would go away within 2-3 months, but I don't want to wait that long!. I am worried that I will spread it to someone else, and I can't stand the little bumps!. What should I do!? Do you know if this is common!? I know children can get it on their legs and arms and it is common for them, but how common is it for adults!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Yes, they are very common in younger adults, as well as children!.
If they are bothering you, they can be frozen off with liquid nitrogen!. Many general doctors can do this, or you could try your local STD clinic, where they have a lot of experience freezing lumps like these!.
If they're in your pubic area, avoid shaving!. Razor nicks tend to make them spread!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
