600 cigarettes is equal to 30 packs. When someone inhales smoke, most of the particles are blown back out. However, very fine particles may become lodged in the lungs, and eventually become absorbed by cells (anthracosis). Over time, smokers' lungs become black.
That said, smoking 30 packs will probably not turn your lungs black. If you haven't quit, do so. It might be the healthiest thing you can ever do!
