What is PsychoSymatic?!

Question: Hey, just out of curiosity I wanted to find out what this actually is.

I have been diagnosed with an AxnietyDisorder so I am a pretty nervous person anyway. But during my first two real jobs and during a 3 month training event I had about 6-8 times suffered with an illness that was worse for about a week but some symptoms persisted a while longer and had to take time off work. It was a lot like having the flu, I'd got really achy, get a cold and cough, sometimes stomach upsets, one time my voice completely went for two days.

The trouble with all this is no one ever caught any symptoms off me which worried me, I'm usually a pretty healthy person, I eat right and exercise. One day I got into a bad situation and straight after felt the flu symptoms comming up again and was ill for a week again.

My boyfriend sais maybe I have psychosymatics because he'd read about a guy famous in history who had it so he know some things it was related too but I don't like to self diagnose.

So could anyone tell me the symptoms off this so I can compare and maybe bring it up with my docter at our next visit?

Thankyou for your time.
