Apply cold raw grated potato mixed with the juice of half lemon around the eye area. Leave on for about 20 minutes and wash off with cold milk. Check out http://useinfo-darkcircles.blogspot.com/ for more info.

You must see your doctor. Otherwise the causes could be lack of water, calcium or potassium. Make sure you get enough sleep, drink plenty of water and excercise if you need to. Contact your doctor if nothing happens in the next 3 days.

Have you had a sleep study done. If you are healthy otherwise but waking after normal sleep and not feeling completely rested you might not be doing as much sleeping as you think... I have also heard that about potassium, II have dark circles too, they started about three years ago and I don't really know why but I just had a sleep study and they find I am waking, unbeknown to me

there's this dermatologic treatment in the hospital where i work, for your particular problem. it's called phonophoresis. the effectiveness will appear after 1 or 2 months usually 2 treatments a week for 3 weeks then 1-2 times a month.
How it works: soundwaves produced by tiny crystals in the machine will push vitamins and other substances directly into the cells. thus replenishing the old cells and improving the pigmentation in the area.

Before going to bed apply castor oil under the eye.Morning wash it and massage with badam oil for 10mts inside out under the eye. Again wash it and cover the eyes with the cotton dipped in rose water and leave it for 10 mts.
In 2 weeks dark circles disappear.

Dark circles & puffy bags under your eyes, headaches and migraines, constipation, digestive troubles such as bloating and cramping, irritability and moodiness, fainting sensations and fatigue are all symptoms of dehydration ?

Dark circles under your eyes are therefore a sign of weakened kidney function...... to bolster your kidney functioning please drink loads more fresh filtered water on a daily basis ?Also, by eating legumes such as peas, beans and lentils you will strengthen kidney functioning.

Expecting your digestive system to digest food and transport essential vitamins and nutrients with no water in your system is an extremely huge ask ............ Water is imperative to life. Without water your body will have a terrible time breathing, digesting food, transporting nutrients, lubricating your joint sockets etc.etc.etc.etc......... nothing substitutes for water. your body needs at least 2 - 3 litres of water daily to function efficiently Geez, we need at least 2 litres daily just to maintain aspiration (to breathe)!! so drink up buddy ?

Increase your intake of fresh filtered water 20 minutes before or after meals so as to enhance digestion rather than interfere with it ............... if you drink fluids during your meals it will only serve to dilute your digestive juices and hinder digestion ?

also, try to cut back on drinks such as coffee, tea, alcohol, sodas and soft drinks (if you drink any of them) which will all do great job of dehydrating you. ie: just 1 can of soda or soft drink will make your body peesh out up to 12 cups of water !!! 1 cup of coffee will make your body peesh out about 2 cups of water ........... read the book by F. Batmanghelidj, M.D.... "Your body's many cries for water"...... an astounding and scary and very true read.

take care of you ?

I tried alot of things to rid me of dark circles. Do you have allergies or maybe breathing problem like asthma? That is how I think I got mine. At this point I've embraced them, they're actually kind of cute and sexy. Apply mineral makeup to them with a concealer brush, it's really natural looking unlike all those goopy chalky concealers out there. It'll give it spf coverage too, just in case the sun is worsening the dark are at least it will get protection from darkening. Forget creams- all that is insanity, I've tried. They'll always be different day to day, morning or night. I think mine are better at night maybe? Or day.. I forgot.
One thing that temporarily improved them so long as id do it every night, apply Olive Oil. It made them less noticeable. Olive oil has vitamin E I think. Well, I use it as a makeup remover when I'm not lazy.
