I have blood in my poo,is that normal?!

Question: dude, i crap out blood

Answers: dude, i crap out blood

No it is not. I have blood in mine too. Come to find out I have diverticulitis, which is tears in the colon. I am not allowed to eat seeds or nuts. Or other little hard particles that can contribute to the tears. Get it checked out, colonoscopy is an adventure you will never forget.

It could be ulcerative colitis or haemorroids. Eat soft fruits and peeled cucumbers for a few days and notice the difference.

That happens to me too when I eat too much dairy, popcorn, or peanuts. I'm going to assume it's not a good thing either :(

oh!!it's not normal!!you have a blood on your poo!!so get it checked up!!

No it is not, but don't panic. It could be many things including simple hemorrhoids if it is fresh (red blood) then it is coming from the lower part of the intestine if it is black then it is from the stomach or upper region, please see a doctor.

Of course it's not normal....you should get yourself checked with the doctor.

Any blood found in stool is considered to be abnormal. If the blood is dark in color (black or 'tarry') that means you have a bleeding in your higher digestive tract. If it is bright red, that means the bleeding is from your lower digestive tract. Or it may simply caused by a hemorrhoid. Acute or Chronic bleeding may will need to iron deficiency anemia. You should go to your doctor and have it check out. Your physician may order some blood test for you to see if you are anemic. He/She may collect some stool specimen from you, and ordered a colonoscopy or endoscopy to see where the bleeding occurred. It is NOT normal to have any sort of blood in your stool. Bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract may be caused by ulcer, tumor, perforation, hemorrhoids, infection, and other underlying disease (crohn's and ulcerative colitis). You should book an appointment with your doctor and get it checked out right away. Hope this will help.
