Yes, you can have herpes of the mouth.

In fact, 8 out of 10 adults have herpes of the mouth. Most of them experience no symptoms, but when we do get symptoms we call them 'cold sores' or 'fever blisters'.

It is NOT usually caught by giving oral sex, although it can be caught that way if your partner has genital herpes. However, this accounts for only about 3% of oral herpes infections.

Most oral herpes is caught by the time you go to school. It is caught through an affectionate kiss from a mother, father or other family member who has the virus, or from another child. My boyfriend caught oral herpes as a five year old when his aunt gave him an affectionate kiss.

Warning signs of an outbreak can be a tingle or itch on the lip, and symptoms are usually small blisters that quickly burst, leaving a small sore, before healing in about 3 days.

Cold sores are so common, they aren't a big deal at all. Although they are caused by a virus that can cause genital herpes too, and the symptoms are identical to genital herpes, they are not genital herpes for the obvious reason that they aren't on your genitals (although you can transfer the virus to another person's genitals if you give them oral sex)

um check wikipedia.com youll know for sure

You can read up on it here.

don't worry, it's perfectly normal. It is called a cold sore. I had one once and I was fretting about it for ages. But it went in just over a week. Go to your doctor and check it out if you're still worried

Herpes "in the mouth", I've never heard, but human Herpes Virus lives around the lips. Prolonged irritation, bad fever, excessive stress, and touching an open cold sore will usually trigger the virus to show itself.

There are no "puss pockets" associated with this. The cold sore or "fever blister" shows itself simply as a blister filled with fluids. It should not get infectious.

you nasty

yes you can get oral herpes what you discribe sounds like a canker sore does it have a white outline to the ulceration
