MY FATHER IS DIABETIC AND MY MOTHER HAS PURCHASED A CINNAMON SUPPLEMENT FOR HIM AT A HEALTH FOOD STORE, IT HAS HELPED HIM ALOT. ALSO HE HAS BEEN TAKING BYETTA THE NEW FORM OF INSULIN FROM A GILA MONSTERS SALIVA THAT HAS BROUGHT HIS SUGAR LEVELS DOWN DRAMMATICALLY. THE CINNAMON WORKS OK, BUT THE BYETTA HAS BROUGHT IT DOWN TO ABOUT 130 FROM THE HIGH 200'S AND LOW 300'S. GOOD LUCK

Type 1 diabetes medication is required regardless. Type 2 diabetes if you are not on medication, a healthy diet and exercise will lower your blood sugar and help you maintain it. This is called border line.

If you don't have diabeties don't screw with it until you talk to a doctor. Exercise has to be watched because it does funny things to sugar levels so you need to ask a doctor!!

exercise
and i heard something about cinnamon

A consistent exercise routine and disciplined low carb and low calorie diet are the only real actions you can take to really reduce the insulin required for you diabetic condition.

Best Wishes.

an abundance of movement, aka exercise, housework, yardwork; and not eating any starchy carby foods, and as low on the carb count as you can possibly get. NO treats at all!! and no stress at all!

Any illness will shoot the moon with the glucose numbers tho.

I cannot keep my glucose numbers in line with less insulins than I am now taking, no matter if I ran marathons and ate only broiled meats!
