If my husband has influenza what are the chances I'm going to get it?!
Question: I wash the bedsheets every day. I spray the bed and pillows with Lysol. I spray the door knobs, the light switches, the handles on the sink, and I even put a little bleach in the dish water. He's so sick! Is it a guarantee that I'm going to get it too?

You'll know in about 72 hours after he showed his first sign...(doctor told me that). My step daughter had it recently and we basically kept her away from everyone else in house...sounds bad I know but the 3 of us that live there also did not catch it. There is a medicine that can help with the symptoms that your doctor can give you called tamiflu. Good luck
You breathe the same air for 8 hours every night.
It's likely you'll get it too, that's the nature of the flu.
