Many people, especially men, (myself included) simply don't want to entertain the thought of undergoing a colonoscopy for obvious reasons. I will tell you, though (and hopefully all other men who may read this), that after becoming anemic from rectal bleeding to the point that I literally had no energy to walk around inside my house, I finally decided that the situation wasn't going to cure itself. I had the colonoscopy and twelve polyps were removed - 8 benign and 4 pre-cancerous. While the thought of a colonoscopy is not the most pleasant thought, the procedure itself is not so bad and is probably infinitely more pleasant than dying of cancer in that area.

the jolly green giants condom.

I read the article, and WOW! I wish I lived near Arizona so I could walk through this, it would be very educational! It would be good if they could do the same thing about diabetes, and heart conditions. An "inflatable colon", what a wonderful way for people to learn about cancer of the colon and its prevention. My mom had to have most of her colon removed for ulcerative colitis a year before she died. Something like what they are exhibiting in Tucson would have helped my mom years before she developed ulcerative colitis - prevention is the key factor! God bless!!!
