CONSTIPATED and now stuck with an ANAL FISSURE.....?!

Question: My nephew was constipated about two weeks ago. He passed a bowel movement with very very much difficulty and wasnt able to pass another one for a week with nearly the same amount of difficulty. That was on tuesday. yesterday he passed another bowel movement (the first one after being constipated) and it was very loose. we think that he has an anal fissure though which developed two weeks ago with the start of his constipation. How can we treat this? He doesnt even want to pass normal bowels becausee of how painful the fissure is. Is there something we can do without taking him to the doctor? by the way, he is 14. Please no rude comments.

Make sure he drinks water to help keep the stool soft. You can also try over the counter stool softeners so it will be easier for him to pass a stool.
The fissure might clear on its own however sometimes it is bad enough surgery is required.
Make sure he also gets fiber in his diet to bulk up the stools. Fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grain bread and cereals.
Also to avoid infections make sure he practices good hygenie habits. It might be softer for him to use a wet wipe for now instead of standard TP.
