Answers: wat are ur positive & negative insights regarding red wine as a treatment to cancer?plz answer.. tnx!!

Red wine has antioxidants from the grapes. Antioxidants scavenge free radicals in the body and help prevent diseases. This is why people believe red wine helps prevent cancer. On the other hand, all alcoholic beverages, including wine (red or white) dehydrates the body and puts stress on the kidneys.

A little can be said to be good for the body, but drinking a lot of it is not good. One glass is good.

99% of ALL cancer is from infections. The body that is deficient in minerals is very susceptible to infections. If you drink wine that is not from organic grapes, you will be loading yourself up with insecticides. Grapes are sprayed more than any other fruit and this leaves insecticide residues on them, no matter how well they are washed. That is not good for you.

good luck to you

I have never heard it as a treatment for cancer but a prevention for heart attacks. I have heard Flax Seed Oil as a prevention for cancer. Also broccoli to prevent colon cancer.

i had a health class last semester, and the teach was talking about the helping effects of wine, but the teacher also said, to get those effects you would need about 30 bottles of wine, which is impossible. im just waiting till the day they make it into a pill form.

Nobody knows what causes most cancers - smoking has been linked to lung and some other cancers and excessive sun exposure to skin cancers, but other than that we're still pretty much in the dark.

Red wine will not prevent cancer - trust me on that one! - nor, sadly will it have any beneficial effect on its progress. I don't know where you got that idea!

There are in fact no foods or drinks or specific diets that have been scientifically proven to cause, prevent, treat or cure cancer. I once thought my largely organic vegan diet and healthy lifestyle would protect me from cancer. It didn't.
