Whatever test or tests the doctor does will not pick up herpes.
The blood test for herpes is specific, designed to see if your body has developed antibodies for the herpes virus. If the test is postive for the antibodies, it means that you can pass herpes to sexual partners--even if you never have symptoms yourself. If you think you might have herpes, you need to get checked. Ask the doctor for a test. If it is positive, you have a duty and a responsibility to tell sexual partners.
It seems to me that you are asking this question because you think you might have it. Get checked. Be responsible.

Well unless you told them to test for Herpes they probably are not looking for that.
