Calling all Hives sufferers?!
Question: Ive had chronic hives everyday for the past 4 years (I'm 18 now). I have been tested for pretty much everything. ASA (aspirin) makes them worst, but doesn't actually cause them. Its not fabric softener, all those classic causes have been tested and failed. I also do not have celiac disease. It should be noted that my hives get much worst every may and june. I also suffer from an anxiety disorder, but we do NOT believe that the underlying cause of my hives is anxiety. anyway, I was basically wondering if there was anyone out there who has/has had chronic hives that can help me out. Im so tired of this. 4 years is too long. Thanks so much

Hello there,
My deepest sympathies go out to you! I don't know what kind of hives you have, but I have cholinergic urticaria (heat hives). Basically, I have had this the past 7 years or so. It is terrible. If I get hot, I get really itchy & prickly (stinging) sensation all over my body. It is so intense.
You didn't mention the type of hives you have. I know there are several types. If you do have cholinergic urticaria, you might want to check the website out below. It is my story on how I have hives.
Unfortunately, there is really no cure for the type of hives I have. Sometimes it just "goes away."
Anyways, just know that you are not alone. I hate this stuff. It really gets me down sometimes! But I just find strength & keep going & hope one day I will be freed from it. Good luck to you & I hope your hives go away soon.
