Possible Ear Infection?!
Question: Recently I've started with a dry throat and now its sort of one of those nasty phlemy coughs...yeah I know disgusting right?
Ok so today it feels like my ears are plugged up and I cant hear as well and i kinda not really gives me the feeling that there is pressure on my head...
Is this an ear infection...or what should I do about it?

Nope. Not an infection. We have tubes that lead from our ears to our throat called Eustachian tubes. When your throat gets congested it blocks off the tubes and changes the pressure, so they can feel plugged. Decongestants can help that (if you are able to taker them).

It can be an ear infection, but if you clean your ears after you shower, who knows it could be something else but it sounds like you are coming down with the flu. You should be taking it easy, meaning stay home and sleep all day. Take flu medication over the counter stuff and if you still feel like this after a day or 2 of resting etc. then its time to go to the doctor.
Sometimes in children respiratory colds will develope into ear infections, it's not very common in adults though. Ear infections are extremely painful! It sounds like you just have some fluid blockage. Sometimes when you have an upper respiratory cold, it puts pressure on the tubes that allow your sinus to drain, when that happens it kind of gets backed up, and thus you get the blocked ear. Hope you feel better soon! Try sudephed! (sorry i cant spell that)
