First of all, relax. This is far from a death sentence.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome isn't that tough a disorder to deal with. Your Gyn will work with you to find a suitable treatment plan. Make sure you ask every question that comes to your head, no matter how silly it may be. Y!A isn't the place to ask, the doc's office is!

As for fertility, don't sweat that until it presents itself as a problem. You are forewarned and therefore forearmed. When you get ready to have kids, make sure your doc is aware of your history and take it from there.

I found you a link, hope it helps. Good luck!

well if it causes fertility, then you can still have kids.

do you mean infertility??? You should as your doctor these questions. If you don't feel comfortable, I'd look on the internet. I'd start with wikipedia. Good luck and try to stay positive.

IVE NEVER HEARD OF THAT BUT IM SORRY TO HEAR THAT. SOME WOMEN WHO ARENT ABLE TO HAVE KIDS TAKE MEDICATIONS TO GET PREGNANT MAYBE YOU CAN DO THAT. SO DONT WORRY ABOUT IT.

go to this website for info.

Polycystic ovary syndrome. When you're ready to have children, you'll need to consult someone that specializes in this syndrome. Yes you can still have children, but yes, it may also be difficult. You'll need a specialist. Don't fear though.....many people have conceived children while having this syndrome.

Go to www.healthatoz.com and put PCOS in the search bar on the top right corner. It will give you ALL the information you need about your condition, including information on a drug called CLOMID which will help you become pregnant. Take your time reading this so you understand exactly what your condition is and RELAX, what you have is nothing to be afraid of. Good Luck!!!
