What happens when you're hospitalized for an allergic reaction?!

Question: Obviously they give you the shot of adrenaline. But aside of that, are there any medications that you're given? Antibiotics or anything? Just plain curiousity.

The shot you're talking about is an epi-pen and it doesn't go in your heart, just your leg. Still painful. They'll hook you up to a heart monitor and a pulse thing and watch you while they pump you full of benadryl and steroids, then send you home, unless you stopped breathing.
