Cough and sneeze sounds?!
Question: why is the sound of coughing same for everybody while the sound of sneezing is significantly different?
Answers: why is the sound of coughing same for everybody while the sound of sneezing is significantly different?
coughing is due to a bronchospam in the lungs. most people have a similar diamerter of the bronchioloes in the lungs. the length is different. sneezing on the other hand is due to an irritant in the upper airway. the reason for the difference in the sounds is that everybody allows themself to sneeze differently. ie: open mouth, closed mouth. they just make different tones
sneezing uses vocal cords, coughing does not perhaps?
