I'm totally confused, can you help me?!

Question: I'm very likely dehydrated. I drink maybe 8oz of water or diluted juice in a day and maybe a cup of coffee. I'm not getting water from food sources because I've barely been eating and when I do eat it's something like peanut butter or bread. Regardless, I've been urinating often and the urine is still pale in color, but cloudy. However, there is no pain during urination and there is not a strong odor, and there is no decrease in urine volume. This has been going on for several weeks. Recently I've started getting flank pain on my left side that goes from dull to sharp and back to a mild, dull pain. It does not hurt more when I urinate.
I'm totally confused by this.
Any ideas?

sounds like a possible kidney infection...drink more water and eat...youre putting yourself up for more serious problems, because youre throwing your electrolytes off. this can cause your body's pH to shift metabolically either in the alkalotic or acidotic state...this is bad because the only thing they can do to correct that is by administering sodium bicarb... so if you see that you are breathing faster and more shallow(respiratory distress) go to your local ER immediately it means your body is trying to blow off CO2 to compensate for that ph shift. If you didnt know thats the reason why boys and girls die from anorexia or bulemia is bc they screwed up their electrolytes. As for your cloudy urine it is a great indicator of an infection. As for urine depending on the concentration of the urea, should be pale yellow to clear in a normal healthy non dehydrated person. darker colors such as almost amber or dark yellow is generally dehydration. blood generally means something is terribly bad(cysts, tumors, etc) and as staed before cloudy is an infection. I myself have had a kidney infection before from too much caffine an less water in my diet at the time and the pain is pretty much dead on. So go to your md, tell him/her whats going on and more than likely will put you on some antibiotic.

Only 8oz of water a day!! If you sit and do nothing you automatically lose like 4-6 oz of water. Add caffeine and you are really in trouble. start drinking more juice if you don't like water. or get crystal light or something. 8oz only and you are asking for trouble.

health Q's i just say go to a dr...
it donst hurt ... if u have medical and its free then y not .. .right . i mean ... we arnt drs we dont really no what we are talkingabout .. so just go

Go check with your doctor....

I think the bigger question is...Why are you not eating or drinking?

yOUR QUESTION IS Really not that clear/cohenerent....but I think I get the gist of it....Are you in confusion because of dehydration or are you asking even though you know you're supposed to drink 64 oz a day, and eat regular and healthy meals a day, or that you have back pain, or etc?????

Go see a doctor and use my advice by discretion only...I am not an MD. All my friends are though....and I have been through it all hun......ICU and almost dying...ALL!......obviously, you are not drinking enough.... but go see a doctor. Flank pain and all those words...... That's medical jargon....I assume you've been googling this alot and all. No need. You can't diagnose online, sorry.....been there, done that when I was young and innocent w/ med stuff. It could be from kidney/renal failure (I had that when I was dying in ICU) or it could be just an infection, or interstitial cystitis/nephritis or whatever....Possibilities are nonstop....SO...GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR, AND IN B/W THEN, DRINK AND EA THE WAY YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO!!!!

here s the idea... coffee give a diuretic effect causing your body to dehydrate... see a urologist to confirm things
