You should use it regularly because if you don't, how do you expect it to work? I was full of pimples and I rarely used it. One day, someone told me I looked like an octopus (joking) but I took it seriously and begun using Proactive. It helped.

Like any acne medication it takes about 6months to really tell if it is working. If you don't see your skin improving try something new. Proactive works for some but not for all.

It worked well for me for years up until about two years ago. I found my skin getting more oily and not responding to the proactiv. I began to break out more and it was just too heavy. I would try it, if I were you and if you notice good results continue with it. You can always return it if you are unhappy. But give it at least two or three weeks before you give up on it. Everyone is different. I may not be able to use it anymore because of a fluctuation in my hormones.

No.

Avoid chemical solutions if at all possible.

No. Not really because it just dries your skin. Murad products work sooo goood!

I used it for four months, and I saw consistently worsening results. I called customer service to stop the automated shipments and of course they tried REALLY hard to talk me out of canceling....but, I couldn't see continuing Proactiv if it wasn't working for me.

I'm just one of those gals it didn't work so well on....but it may work differently for you. Best advice is to use it daily to see optimal results, should you receive the optimal results.
