Do mice around the house have rabies?!
Question: VERY unlikely!
If you are in the UK then definitely NOT.
Rabies is rare and mice are not likely to carry it if they are simply living in your domestic area...BUT they do carry germs and they will be there due to the combination of cold external weather and available food.
You need make sure all sources of food are made unavailable by scrupulous cleaning and storage, then set humane traps and dump them half a mile away...Don't try handling them as they will probably also have other parasites as well as germs that you don't want to come in contact with.
