Married men only respond to this... what do you do when, you realize that you are in love with your?

best friend,(who is a woman), you've had the most incredible relationship for six months, you feel that you are soul mates, but don't want to hurt your wife, who is a good mother to your child, but otherwise you feel indifferent to her.
TWIST!!! you just found out that your best friend/ lover is now pregnant with your child.

That's an incredibly hard situation. You guys have to talk about and come up with a solution together. You both entered into the relationship as two mature, consenting adults and that's how you should remain even after the decision is made in what to do. I know it's hard, but try to leave ego out of it as much as possible. What would I do? Life is way to short and to have someone that I truly love and is my best friend on top of that...I would go with her. I can sympathize with not wanting to hurt my wife and mother of my child, but having a kid together is not a reason to stay together especially if the relationship is already strained. I noticed that you posted the question a little bit differently before. Is abortion an option for you? Touchy subject I know. Depending on how you want your life to go and how you want to raise a kid, it could be an option. Don't let people on here tear you down. I'm sure that you are a good person.
