My right testicle is bigger than my left. am i normal?!

Question:

My right testicle is bigger than my left. am i normal?

hi, a while back i had pain in my testicles and being a teenager it's hard to say this to your parents but i did. I went to the doctors and he said it was all fine but about 2-3 months later i was back becasue i couldnt get my mind at rest about the case. He sent me to get a ultrasound to put my mind at rest and the ultrasound went fine with no problems. But now again about 6 months later i have a new problem! my right testicle feels bigger than my left but as far as i can remember has always been this way. I dont want to go through all that again because im sure im fine but im just getting paranoid! can anyone help me with a way to get my mind at rest once and for all? I know i asked this question yesterday but this might sound silly but what do you mean by slightly larger. mines arent exactly oppisite but i dont understand how much you mean the difference should be by?

Answers:

It is perfectly normal for one of your testicles to be larger than the other, sometimes one twice the size of the other. Just like women commonly have one breast larger than the other, sometimes a whole cup size. As long as neither is swollen (it would be red and tender) and you're not in pain, this is perfectly normal. Relax!
