Why does this happen?!

Question:

Why does this happen?

There are times when my bf has a hard time ejaculating. There are times when he can't at all. I am wondering what causes this to happen because this has started over the last two months. This is not normal for him, so I am concerned.

Answers:

There are a number of possible causes. It might be dietary - he might not be drinking enough water, so there isn't enough liquid in his body, so he isn't producing as much ejaculate. He might also be masturbating too much, or y'all might be doing it too often.

When I have a particularly "good" week in terms of frequency of sexual activity, I often have some trouble "finishing." There's nothing abnormal about that - it's just a consequence of the limited supply of semen vs. the frequent ejection of it.

If he's not experiencing any pain or any difficulty achieving erection, then it is probably not something he needs to go to the doctor for yet. Have him try eating more cucumbers (for real - for some reason, this seems to increase the amount of semen produced) and drinking more water. This should help some.

And life is short, so if y'all are doing it a lot - don't stop or slow down. If that's the reason he's not ejaculating a lot, it's a good problem to have and a lot of couples are very jealous!

If, after a while and after the hydration and dietary approach, he is still having trouble - or if he has any pain at all - time to go to a doctor.

Good luck!

PS - Make sure he's doing his self-examination for testicular cancer. There's a slim possibility this is an early warning sign of trouble to come. http://tcrc.acor.org/tcexam.html... If he feels anything unusual, get him to his family physician that day or the next day.
