What is a suitable barbell starting weight for a 16 year old beginner?!


Question: What is a suitable barbell starting weight for a 16 year old beginner?
Im 16 year old male and weight about 103lbs. (yah im underweight ) but that's due to the illness that has affected me for 6 months now. Anyways10kg (20lbs) is too heavy for me apparently so anyone can suggest a good suitable starting weight for me?

Try 10 or 15. Light enough for you to do at least 6 reps.



barbell what? for bench start at half your Weight if you are very week then work your way up . with curls don't use barbell use dumbells and start at 5-10 pounds if you want to see best results go to ur local gym find a friend and stack on the weights till its to heavy to lift make sure ur spotter isnt stupid tho or u might die lol
