Hey Kevin,
People naturally lose a lot of heat from the top of their heads whether with hair or bald, in cold or hot weather. You are probably noticing it more because of being bald.
With you laying, being covered (Or not), and being relaxed, your body is releasing natural heat, and it is doing this through the top of your head. There is nothing wrong with you, unless you are having any other symptoms along with it. Headaches, nausea, pain, etc.
Other than that, as people use hats/beanies/scarves to keep the heat in, you could use a cool cloth on your head or around your neck to keep cooler while you are resting. They have neck tie coolers you wear around your neck (They cool down the carotid arteries in your neck) that will help keep you cool even while awake and about doing things. They come in all types of colors/fabrics. They are reusable and last for hours. Look those up on the web if you think this might help a bit.
Anyway, there is nothing wrong with you like I said, unless there are other symptoms like I said. If so, you should see your Doctor. If not, hope this helps a bit.
Take care!
Turn on a ceiling fan. Set it to pull the air UP in winter & blow DOWN in summer. It has helped me tremendously. The better the air circulates, the better you breathe, the better you sleep, the better you rest.
