Question: Why do men get an erection when they are sleeping!?
Ok so I don't know why they do!.!.!. and I am very curious!. I am pretty sure my husband wasn't having a sex dream cause I shook him a little to see if he would talk and he did!.!.!. he said "we need lettuce and tomato" lol
So why does it happen!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Men get erections in their sleep due to two main reasons!.

1!. Brain activity while a man sleeps!. While a man is asleep, he goes through the sleep cycle and his mind randomly fires neurons!. In case you don't know, neurons control everything a person does - including have erections!. This also includes men who have dreams that are sexually arousing!. For the most part, people do not control the content of their dreams unless they train themselves to do so!. Dreams with themes involving sex actually only occur in about 10% of a man's dreams on average, depending on the guy!. However, men of good health and young age, will also have on average of about 6 erections per night!.

2!. The other common reason is that while a man sleeps urine builds up in the bladder!. This creates preasure against the prostate gland, there by stimulating it and causing a man to get erect!. It goes without saying that most of the time when men wake up with erections, they also need to pee!.

This usually happpens whenever the male has a full bladder during the night and the inability to release it causes them to become erect!. Another possibility is the way he's sleeping and rubbing against the bed, because if his penis is sensitive, then he'll get an erection rather quickly!. Sometimes it's possible it just happens for no reason!. There are many reasons for an erection at night!. Research it more and you'll get excellent and more explained answers!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

We get random erections at night, just like we do during the day!. It has nothing to do with sex dreams!. It's more to do with our body making sure our junk is in working order - it's like a test run!.

People keep posting that it happens because we have to pee or our bladder is full!. People who say that crap are either young or don't have a penis!. We don't get erections during the day or night because we have to urinate!. That's asinine and uninformed!. We have erections all night and of course we have to urinate when we wake up - don't you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's just because circulation is clearer when a guy is sleeping!. It happens just because there is no reason!. Scientists and doctors havent been able to figure it out!. It doesn't have anything to do with him having a full bladder which is what some people might say!. That is a common myth but all it is is a myth!. Not all erections are sexual you know!? Some happen just because!.

it happens when a guy hasn't masturbated / had sex in a while!. It is a lot less frequent for older men as their hormones have calmed down!.

But yes, it is a sex dream and we do get hard and sometimes our fun juice comes out and it's a pain in the *** to clean up and waking up sticky!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it has nothing to do with not getting enough sex, it is our natural way to stop ourselves from peeing when we sleep!. that's why guys have to get up and g to the bathroom more often when they get older because they have a hard time keeping it hard!.

it's perfectly normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
