Question: Red spot on penis head!?
A few months ago I noticed that my penis HEAD had a red spot on it's base!. ( near the foreskin )!. i didn't feel any itchy sensation , no burning sensation no pain!. Just a red spot that's been the same for months on the gland!. I do admit I masturbate a lot and by what I read on some sites this could be the cause but I dunno!. I'm a virgin, 16 years old, I always wash, it without soap, ( because i heard it can do damage) so I can't think of any hygiene problem, let alone an STD!. can someone help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

However it does sound like a palpule!. Most penile papules do not have a serious cause, though!. More specifically: Molluscum contagiosum is a viral infection of the skin!. It appears as small, pearl-shaped spots which are pink in colour!. It may occur at any age but is typically found in children!. It is not a serious disease and usually clears up within a few months!.
