The major ones take more off, including any of the following modifications: Labia majora, labia minora, clitoris, urethral stretching followed by closure of the vagina!.

Depends on your definition!. Strictly speaking, circumcising a girl means cutting back the "hood" or layer of skin over her clitoris, the part that's the equivalent of the glans (head) of a penis, right at the top of the groove of her vulva!. This exposes the clitoris more and makes it easier to stimulate it!.
Traditional "circumcision" is the exact opposite, and is really female castration or mutilation: the ritual cutting out of the clitoris altogether, and often the inner lips (labia) and sometimes even paring back the outer lips as well, to all but eliminate the girl's ability to enjoy sex!. The idea is to be sure she never wants to have sex except when her husband demands it!. It is not immoral and disgusting since some cultures actually looks at it as a right of passage!. It is done to remove a part of "sex drive" or sexual pleasure you get so that you don't get temp!. And for cleanliness, the same reason why some men get circumcised!.!.!.

some have very sick cultures/practice they think its okay to rip out the Clit, to remove a womans disire!.!.!. It is very sicking and wrong, wrong wrong!.!.!.
