I caught my kid masturbating. What should I do?!

Question: tell him that what he was doing is normal and natural and tell him that if he ever needs to ask you anything you are there for him. Don't act like it is a big deal and don't push a conversation. Apologise for bursting in. From now on knock! :)

Laugh at him!

absolutley nothing, EVERYBODY does it

Forget about it. you probably done it or do it. What would you want someone to do if they caught you? I know i would just want it to be forgot about, so that i can get on with it!

i think that you should continue with your everyday lives. just pretend like you didn't see anything. and if that doesn't work then go talk to him about it even though it may be a little awkward. if he is like 15 and up then i would just continue with your life and not worry about it bc he will do it again and wont want to think about the talk he had with his dad.

Tell him to be moderate, that's it. Excess of everything (many may not agree) is bad. That's it

Masturbation is an absolutely normal urge and function for a child into their adolescent years to be doing.

You should not say anything to your child, as there is nothing to say. It's absolutely normal, and you should definitely not tell them to stop!

Just leave them alone. They're probably feeling just as embarrassed as you are right now.

Masturbation is completely normal for a child going through puberty.I think you guys need to talk about father-to-son.Tell me how it went. You can't just forget about because he hid it from you because he felt uncomfortable. If you guys talk it may get a little weird at first but soon it will build a tighter bond.

nutt'n..... just tell him to be sure the door is locked when he is
