Question: is it ok for a dude to shave his pubes (because im a VERY hairy person) and secondly, when i shave my pubes with a razor i get little cuts, and same with a electric shaver, any thoughts?

I use a beard trimmer that is on my eclectic razor and the finishing touch with a semi dull safety razor. The new sharp ones are a disaster in nicking potential.
All while I have an erection.
And ball bag stretched across its side of the ball place. I do this to keep from nicking the wrinkly skin the bag has.

All dudes should at least trim.... I personally like to shave almost all of it....
Always shave with the grain of your hair, always use a sharp blade, try not to go over the same area twice and use a good moisturiser. If you shave regularly, like once a week, its goes a lot better... your skin seems to get accustom to the irritation caused by shaving.
For quick and easy, a electric trimmer with a small guard works awesome... Just be careful with your sack if they're hanging low... you can pinch it, hurts like hell!
Your crotch is kind of a sensitive area. If you actually shave the whole thing, you'll probably get razor burn. It's not pretty. It might stop after a few times, but then again it might not. Try using clippers with a short guard on them so you don't nick yourself.
You can use a razor to shave your balls. Less risk of razor burn. I'd do that part in the shower and use some hair conditioner for lube. When you get done, rub some lotion on your balls. It might burn just a tad for a few seconds, but trust me it will feel better in no time.
I am a very hairy person myself but I have never completely shaved my pubes or any part of my body. I do use a hair clippers to trim my body hair sometimes. I will also us a scissors to carefully cut some of the longer hairs under my genitals. I would never shave real close in those areas. I have also not had any complaints from any girls.
