The other class or kind of steroids are the anabolic steroids (dianabol, Deca Durabolin, Winstrol, et al.). These medications, also prescribed by doctors, are mimics or chemical analogues (like a synthetic) of hormones produced by a body as well. But this group can influence tissue, especially muscle tissue, growth. They can, when used without a physician's supervision, cause a host of other problems.
